A New Equation
"MOVE!" shared a new equation,
With wellness the result.
T'was simple mathematics,
Of which they would consult.
Theirs is a basic formula,
Awareness too, the key.
With knowledge and commitment used,
To solve the mystery.
Each day their secret monitor,
Did prompt me to succeed.
Gently Annie, checked to see,
If I was taking heed.
Through patient introspection,
Was found a healthy way.
To focus on the future me,
From which, I would not stray.
But mostly, "Move" did challenge me,
With knowledge, as their guide.
To live each day achieving,
The secrets they’d confide.
So now, I'm so much lighter than,
I've been for many years.
As slowly, softly, gently,
Are too, my many, peers
