The MOVE! Reality
It is so very difficult,
To change, becoming new.
My commitment redirected,
As life I'm passing through.
Some days it seems impossible,
To alter whom I've been.
Focusing on healthy ways,
And each day, new begin.
This pathway, though apparent,
Is difficult at best.
Yet every day with “MOVE!’s” support,
Is better than the rest.
The burden of obesity,
For many years I've known.
And though aware, I failed to live,
As I had, larger, grown.
Then came an invitation,
There is a better way.
By committing to a healthy life,
Would come a brand new day.
And though this road is arduous.
With Annie as my guide.
Step by step and pound by pound,
New secrets she’ll confide.
So with support, I'm focused,
On movement and control.
As exercise and diet,
Both help me reach my goal.
